New World screwworm poses serious risks to livestock, pets, wildlife, and other warm-blooded animals. Current reporting has described federal and state response efforts involving containment, inspection, sterile-fly release strategies, emergency authorizations, and animal movement restrictions.
This kind of threat highlights why practical innovation in agricultural biotechnology matters — and why any new platform must be communicated responsibly.
AgriShield-X™ is not being presented as an approved screwworm treatment. It is not a substitute for USDA, APHIS, veterinary, state, quarantine, reporting, or sterile-fly containment programs.
