Why Research-Stage Companies May Need to Protect Both Hope and Honesty

How responsible biotech companies might stay ambitious while remaining clear about evidence, uncertainty, and validation before claims

In research-stage biotech, though, hope may need to be balanced by honesty. That's the idea behind this post: research-stage companies may need to protect both.

Hope may give science direction

A patient-centered company can try to use hope to motivate careful research rather than to imply unproven promises.
