Dimitri Freeman is Co-Founder and Director of Partnerships & Program Development at Biotech International Institute, where he supports strategic partnerships, program development, community engagement, hemp/cannabinoid industry insight, and translational planning.

Dimitri brings a strong background in community development, public sector administration, project management, and data analysis. His experience allows him to support organized decision-making, partnership strategy, and the development of programs designed to create measurable community and industry impact.

As an enrolled member of the United Confederation of Taino People, Dimitri is committed to cultural preservation, community-building, and supporting initiatives that respect heritage, sovereignty, education, and responsible innovation.

He is also the Founder of Freeman Hemp LLC, where his work has focused on hemp-based product development, CBD product design, production analysis, sustainability, and ethical industry practices. His experience as a hemp consultant and lecturer on community development gives him a practical understanding of both grassroots engagement and emerging wellness markets.

At Biotech International Institute, Dimitri helps bridge community-centered development, partnership outreach, hemp/cannabinoid experience, and program strategy with BII’s broader research-stage biotech platforms across neurological innovation, peptide therapeutics, addiction recovery biology, cannabinoid-related science, and translational bioscience.
